Universalism of Islam vs. Christian Seen From the aspect of the Scriptures

To test the claims of universalism each religion both Islamic and Christian, we must make the assumption that the first book of sacred and religious sources of both religions are equally:

Assumption 1: Muhammad is the prophet / messenger sent by God to all natural, and it is the only holy book of that really is a revelation from God through the intercession Gabriel / Holy Spirit to all natural.

Assumption 2: Jesus is a prophet / messenger (even God) sent by God to all natural, and the Bible is the only holy book of that really is a revelation from God through the power of His Holy Spirit to all natural.

Now, let us proceed, if both religion is really universal, reviewed notes from the holy book of each.

Universalkah Islam?

Al-Qur'an emphasize to people that religion in the sight of Allah is Islam.

Indeed, religion (which diridai) in the sight of Allah is Islam. There is no dissent of those who have been given the Book except after knowledge came to them, because hatred (that) between them. Anyone who disbelieve the revelations of Allah, Allah is swift at reckoning. (QS.3: 19).

The Koran also describes the definition of Islam itself, namely, the resignation of the total.

Then, they argue, if you (the truth about Islam), then say: "I submit myself to Allah and (that) to those who follow." And say to those who have been given the Book and to those who ummi: "Are you (want to) enter Islam." If they embraced Islam, they have received instructions, and if they turn away, then you obligation is only to convey (the verses of Allah). And Allah sees will be his servants. (QS.3: 20).

Islam in the view of Scripture is not created at the time of Prophet Mohammed, but has been present since the first man, Adam, the Prophet U.S..

We were commanded to Adam, then forget it (it will command), and we do not find it in a strong willpower. (QS.20: 115).

He has mensyari'atkan for you about what the religion has diwasiatkan unto Noah, and what We have revealed unto thee, and what we have wasiatkan to Abraham, Moses and Jesus, namely: Tegakkanlah religion and do not split the party on. Very heavy for those polytheistic religion that you call upon them to him. He is appealing to religious people who want him and gave instructions to (religious)-His people back (to him). (QS.42: 13).

Abraham was not a Jew and not (also) a Christian, but he is a straight longer have surrendered (to Allah), and once he is not among the people idolaters. Indeed, the people closest to him are those who follow the Prophet and the (Muhammad), and those who believe (to the Prophet Muhammad), and Allah is the protector of all those who believe. (QS.3 :67-68).

And Ibrahim have to give a speech that his children, Jacob likewise. (He said): "My sons! Seseungguhnya God has chosen this religion (Islam) for you, do not die except in the embrace Islam. "(QS.2: 132).

And verily We sent messengers to every people (to call): "Worship Allah (alone), and it distracts Thaghut", then the people there are those who were given instructions by God, and there are also among those who would have been for the error. Then you walk in the earth and see how the end of those who deny (the messengers). (QS.16: 36).

We did not send a messenger is before you, but We revealed to him that there is no God (the rights) but I so worship Me. " (QS.21: 25)

We have sent several messengers before thee, among them that we tell thee, and between them there are (also) that we do not tell you. Can not be a messenger for a mu'jizat, except with the permission of Allah, then the command has come when God rested (all things) with the fair. Lost and when the people who hold to a falsehood. (QS.40: 78).

Some verses of Scripture clearly above asserts that Islam has been present since the days of Adam. The Koran also explains that the prophet / messenger is not only a total of 25 persons only, as the name in the Al-Koran, but exceed that amount (QS.40: 78), but it does not explain the numbers of course. Obviously, God has sent prophets / messengers to every nation on earth (QS.16: 36) and always ordered his creatures to worship only Him, because there is no god but Allah, (QS.21: 25) . This is the essence of Islam.

Unlike with previously people where each nation has the prophets / messengers, it asserts that diutusnya Prophet Mohammed is for all natural, and it is a cover of the prophets / messengers.

Nor We sent thee (Muhammad), except for a mercy for the worlds. (QS.21: 107).

Nor We sent thee (Muhammad), but to mankind as a whole barita happy and as a warner, but most of mankind know not. (QS.34: 28)

Muhammad is not the father of a man among you, but he is the Messenger of Allah and the prophets. And Allah is Knower of all things. (QS.33: 40).

Al-Qur'an also asserts that he is the only one to be a warning for all of nature.

Say (O Muhammad): "I did not ask the actual wages of the top da'wahku and I'm not including those who invent inventions. Koran is not only a warning for the worlds. (QS.38 :86-87).

From the brief description above, it appears clear that Islam is a religion for all natural, therefore, eligible to receive Islamic religious predicate universal.

Universalkah Christian?

The Bible explicitly states that Christian was born after the crucifixion of Jesus, as Paul This Tarsus in a statement following:

Galatians:

2:16 You know, that no one is allowed to do because by law, but only because of faith in Jesus Christ. Therefore kamipun have to believe Jesus Christ, so that we justified by faith in Christ because of and not because they do by law. For the "no-one allowed" to do because of the law.

3:13 Christ has redeemed us from cursing the law with the way we become a bane because, as is written: "Accursed be the person hanging on a cross!"

On the other, Paul Tarsus also stated that he received the mandate from Jesus to spread the Christian faith to the nations of non-Jews. As a statement of Paul in Tarsus in the Bible following:

Galatians:

1:16 wish that his Son in me, so I give He amongst nations is not Jewish, so I do not have the sesaatpun consideration to the human;

However, Christians can be seen as a universal religion that stands on the truth of God's revelation?

The Bible is rejecting the existence of Christianity before, and even the time of Jesus. That religion before Jesus, who reputedly diridlai by God according to the Bible, the Jews (read: the Old Testament). Furthermore, the Jewish religion is a religion only for certain groups, namely, Israel (read: the Old Testament). Actually, at that time, when the prophets / messengers sent to Israel, humans have spread to all corners of the earth, not only in israel. A, the nation Roman, Greek, Egyptian, Arab, Indian, Chinese, and others. However, the Bible specifically noted the existence of other nations besides Israel, namely, the people of the Prophet Job USA, the nation of Edom, (read: the Book of Job). Against people of other, the Old Testament, it was not explained, is not impressed even want to know, at least, to whom the people must serve.

Thus, a brief description of the above, it appears clear that the Christian religion is new, born about 2,000 years ago when Jesus reputedly taught the Christian according to Paul Tarsus.

Then, can be seen as a religious Christian who deserved a predicate in the sense of universal religious revelation?

The answer lies in the conscience of each readers. But the most important must remember is that the Christian religion is not yet exist in this world in the era before Jesus. Of course, this will be difficult to understand, what may be the universal religion must come then?
